User experience
This project was created to support individuals who struggle with focus while reading, particularly those with ADHD. Inspired by my own experience and my father’s metaphor of horses in India wearing blinders to stay focused, I designed a simple visual aid to help minimize distractions and keep attention centered on the text.
The tool functions like a reading guide, gently framing one line at a time to reduce overwhelm and encourage presence. Its calming colors, supportive messaging, and tactile form offer both emotional reassurance and practical assistance. Rather than restricting the reader, it creates a more focused and accessible reading experience, one that values neurodivergent needs and promotes a sense of ease.
Whether used by children or adults, this reading aid serves as a gentle reminder to slow down, take a breath, and stay connected to the page.
