What is a technology, and is identity labeling one?
The term "technology" is frequently linked to instruments, frameworks, or techniques that people create to address issues or accomplish particular objectives. In essence, we are investigating how labels and identity work as instruments or systems that impact communication, society, and human behavior when we consider them to be technologies.
This project critically examines how identity labels are created, assigned, and used as weapons of control, surveillance, and division in modern society.

Label Loyalty Program
The more identity labels you gather, the more points you receive in our fictitious rewards program. These points can be redeemed for benefits like employment or fame. This is a joke about how, rather than being authentic, today's culture pushes people to adopt false identities to blend in or succeed. It raises the question of whether we are being authentic or merely acting.
The Lottery of Identity
According to this theory, a nationwide lottery that is broadcast live on television assigns a random identity label to each person. Certain labels are associated with privilege, while others are associated with hardship. This changes the way we typically think about identity. It demonstrates how privilege frequently depends solely on luck and how many of the labels we are given are not our own.
The Label Eraser
Came up with the absurd Label Eraser, a product that claims to remove your identity label with a single swipe. However, losing a label could also mean losing your support system, culture, or community. The notion that life would be simpler without labels is parodied here. It demonstrates how labels can be significant and meaningful even though they can also be bothersome or restrictive.
Label Insurance
This is a fictitious insurance service that guards against identity theft and misuse. You can even "upgrade" to a more reputable label. It's a lighthearted way of illustrating how much effort people put into preserving their reputation. It also highlights how society values some identities more than others.
